What Is iMacros Browser Window Name?

Postby MAtkins on Wed Jul 07, 2010 8:49 pm

I'm trying to figure out how to reposition & resize multiple iMacros Browsers after they are opened.

If you got code for that (especially C#) that'd be great.

I'm trying to use the C# System.Diagnostics.Process.getProcessByName("<proc name>") function and I can find iMacros but I can't figure out what the actual iMacros Browser name is.

Please let me know.

Hi,

You can find out all Windows names witih the Microsoft SPY++ tool. Or try to get the the Windows handle (hwnd) via the Windows title. That worked well for many users. But I am not sure for what kind of "iMacros browser name" you are looking for.

I've got 30 iMacros browsers running at the same time.

I'm trying to figure out how to size and position each one on the screen so that you can see them all (though they'd be rather small).

I know it can be done because I know an app that does it but I can't figure out how to do it.

I'm trying to do this programmatically in C# so SPY++ can't help (unless it can do more than I thought).

The Windows title is identical for all the instances of the iMacros browser so that doesn't help, unless I'm missing something.

I don't really care how I do it, can you help me learn how to accomplish my goal (size & position each iMacros browser instance);

What about calling the Shell's TileHorizontally or TileVertically methods?
