Is search possible?

Postby Hayes on Sun Jul 25, 2010 9:21 pm

I don't know if this is in the correct place or not, I have looked lots of places and can't seem to find exactly what i'm looking for. I need a code that will search a page for a word, and if it's not there refresh that page until that word or phrase shows up. And when it does find it, to somehow highlight it.. Or make it easily visible? Thanks.

That sounds complicated.. I guess this would seem more simple...
1.Go to gpxplus.net
2.Search the page for a word or phrase
3.If it finds that word, Highlight it. And not refresh the page.
4.If it's not found, refresh the page till it is found.

Hello Hayes,

You can use the iMacros SEARCH command to find any text on the page. As far as highlighting the text, you might have to look into using some scripting code to accomplish that.
