Postby NoobNeedsHelp on Fri Nov 06, 2009 10:18 pm

imacro browser latest version
and or the firefox verison

Just wondering is it possible, to make a macro so that a site can't detect it? If so how would I do it?

To change the browser user agent identification string, please cf. http://wiki.imacros.net/-useragent and http://wiki.imacros.net/!USERAGENT.

However, there are many more ways a site could check for automatted use like if the macro "runs faster" than the average user does.

If the site's terms of use prohibit automation, don't automate it.

Just use your browser to visit some web service like e.g. http://whatismyip.com/tools/user-agent-info.asp and you'll see how your browser user agent string looks like.
